General

1. No changes are able to be made to any tournament rosters (players, gamertags, usernames, etc.) after registration has been completed.

2. By registering for this tournament, players acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to abide by all of the rules.

3. Breaking any rule may result in a Forfeit of a Game, Match, or Ban from GameBattles.

4. The rules are subject to change at any time, so check them often.

5. All GameBattles Ladder Rules apply, unless otherwise specified below.

6. All participants must be legal residents of the United States. Only one (1) prize per household per Tournament. Employees of MLG, the Tournament's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, and members of the immediate family of any such persons, are not eligible to participate and win.

7. The tournament size and prize is subject to change based on the number of total teams registered at the end of the registration period.

8. ** Users must utilize their own unique username for competing on GameBattles. This unique username must have been registered on GameBattles personally by the user. The registered username must contain the correct and complete Name, Address, and Email of the user. If a false Name, Address, or Email was entered, the user voids the privilege to participate in the Ladder/Tournament and receive any prizes.

9. ** As a user, you are personally responsible for accepting any invitation to a team. If you do not personally accept a team invitation, you may be disqualified from competing. You also forfeit the ability to receive prizes.

10. ** User are prohibited from sharing account information stored on GameBattles with another person for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to the following: usernames, passwords, gamertags, email accounts, etc. If another person accesses your account, you may be disqualified from the Ladder/Tournament and removed from GameBattles.

11. Eligible for US residents only. Not valid in Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, North Dakota and Vermont.

Gameplay

1. No using C4, Claymore(s), Blast Shields, Tactical Insertion, Riot Shields, Secondary Launchers, Secondary Shotguns and Grenade Launchers

2. No using the following perks: Bling, One Man Army

3. Killstreaks DISABLED, players must set their Death Streak to Copycat. Using any other Death Streak will result in a forfeit.

4. Breaking of rules 1-3 will result in a forfeit of the game/map.

5. Please note that the restrictions are subject to change as we continue to iron out the settings

6. As many of you know the game is having problems lately, one of which is the infinite ammo glitch. To deal with this problem, all GameBattles matches are required to have a lag test to check for lag as well as infinite ammo. If the infinite ammo is a problem, the host of the map needs to turn off his/her xbox and setup the lobby again. If the infinite Ammo glitch is found in your match, the hosting team will forfeit that map.

All Matches

1. Players must be signed in to Xbox Live for all Matches.

2. Players must appear offline for the entire Match.

3. No warm-up or practice Games are permitted once the Match’s first Game has begun.

4. If you decide to play a match earlier than the scheduled default time, you MUST provide proof of winning that match.

5. Starting a Map with the wrong Game Settings may result in a Forfeit of the Map.

6. Teams must have at least 3 members present in order to start a Round/Map.

7. If by 15 minutes past the scheduled Match time a Team doesn’t have enough players to play, the incomplete Team Forfeits the Games they cannot play.

8. To get help with a No Show issue, you MUST contact staff via Live Support. We must verify the no show. To get to Live Support, click on the Support tab within the Tournament and go to the Live Support link.

9. In order to get a Forfeit Win, a Team must submit a Ticket within 30 minutes of the scheduled Match time. The Ticket must include proof of your allegation of cheating, wrong weapons used, etc. Your proof MUST be submitted immediately with your Ticket. Video proof can be edited to include only the section where the offense takes place. However, the video MUST include the score screen at one point. If proof is not included with your Ticket, or the Ticket is submitted after 30 minutes after the scheduled Match time, the Match win will be decided by staff.

10. Teams may delay the Match between Maps for up to five minutes. Teams can request that an Online Tournament Support Staff member enforce this five minute time limit. In a 4v4 Tournament, teams are permitted to start a map shorthanded as long as it is not a kill-dependent game mode. If teams do not have enough players to start a kill-dependent game mode, they will forfeit that map. In a 3v3 player Tournament and below, teams are never permitted to start a map shorthanded.

11. If the Party Leader/Host wrongly ends a Map, their Team will Forfeit the Map.

Bracket Play

1. Game Types will be set for each Round of the Bracket.

2. After losing a Match, Teams will be eliminated from the Bracket.

3. The higher seeded Team must choose 1 Game to Host. Then, the lower seeded Team must choose 2 Games to Host. The higher seeded Team must Host the Games that weren’t chosen. The Games must be played in order.

4. The Bracket default time is listed on the Info Tab for the Tournament. Matches must be played and completed within 24 hours of the default time. Both teams must argee to postpone the match. Extensions will not be made after the 24 hours.

5. If a Match is not played, and neither Team submits a Ticket requesting the Forfeit win, the Match win will be decided by staff.

Host

1. Hosting players should create the Custom Games Lobby as this is likely to give them Host. As the hosting Team changes over the course of a Match, the new Host should leave the Custom Games Lobby and create a new one so they are likely to be given Host for that Map.

2. If for some reason the Host isn't given to the player that was designated to be the Map’s Host, the Map must still be played. For example, some games randomly choose a Host, so neither team will be able to designate who the Host will be.

3. Teams should play a test Map, for roughly 30 seconds, before a new Host is going to be used, in order to determine if the Host is reasonable. Test Maps should be played using a Game Type the Teams are not scheduled to play so that players aren’t confused about whether the Match has officially begun or not.

4. All players must agree that the Host is reasonable before the start of a Map. If a reasonable Host cannot be found, the Team’s best Host must be used.

5. If a player’s connection to the Host becomes unreasonable during a Map, the Map must still be played. After each Map, either Team may request that a new Host be tested, if the previous Host was unreasonable.

6. If a player loses their connection to the Host when the Map launches, the Map must be restarted.

7. If a player loses their connection to the Host during a Map that has a kill-dependant game mode, their Team Forfeits the Map.

8. If a player loses their connection to the Host during a non-kill-dependant game, the Map must continue.

Online Tournament Support Staff

1. Online Tournament Admins can be contacted on Live Support to answer any questions or solve any problems your Team may have during a Match. Contact information for Online Tournament Support Admins can be found on the Support Tab located within the Tournament. Arena Referees and Arena Administrators should not be contacted.

2. If an Online Tournament Admin is called into a Custom Games Lobby, players must keep the Admin un-muted at all times.

3. Abuse of our Online Tournament Staff will not be tolerated in any form. This includes written messages or verbal comments. Violators will be removed from the Tournament and GameBattles.

Reporting

1. Both Teams must report the Match results within 15 minutes of its completion.

2. To report the Match results, Teams must report the Match Score (2-0, or 2-1). Reporting the individual Game Scores is optional.

3. At least one member of each Team should take a Screenshot(s) of each Round’s results. Screenshots should contain the Round Score, players on each Team, and a time stamp.

4. In order to dispute Match results, Tickets must be submitted immediately following the Match.

5. If a Screenshot(s) is needed in order to resolve a dispute, it should be transferred to the user’s computer and uploaded to a free image-hosting site. Videos may also be uploaded to the GB Game Room. The URL for the image(s)/video should be attached to the dispute Ticket(s).

6. For all cheating claims, the burden of proof is on the accuser.

7. Any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in a Forfeit of a Game, Match, or ban from GameBattles.

8. Unsportsmanlike behavior and verbal abuse will not be tolerated. Punishable behavior includes, but is not limited to, excessive use of foul or degrading language.

Tickets

1. To submit a Ticket, click “New Support Ticket” found within “My GB” on the console navigation bar. Select category "Arena: Online Tournament" , the Arena in which it occurred, and a detailed description of the issue.

2. When submitting a Ticket, fill out all applicable fields. Incomplete or incorrect Tickets will be closed without being processed.

3. Once submitted, the status of your Ticket can be viewed through “My Support Tickets” also found within the “My GB” menu.

4. All Admin decisions are final. After a decision has been made regarding a Ticket, additional Tickets may only be submitted if they contain new information that would affect the outcome of the match.

5. Tickets are handled in the order that they are received. Staff members should not be contacted regarding the status of Tickets that have not been closed.

1. All of the Settings changes that were made are listed below. Settings, not listed below, shouldn’t be changed from their default state.
2. Starting a game/map with the wrong Game Type Settings may result in a forfeit of the game/map, the game/map being replayed, or a warning, which will be determined by a Premium Admin.
